Woodbury Outfitters offers high quality archery and firearm hunts on over 4000 leased acres of prime deer habitat. The acreage is a carefully managed blend of 60% timber and 40% agriculture (corn, beans, alfalfa, clover and rye) specifically for our deer.

Most of the acreage has been under management for 2 or 3 years and we have established 125 P&Y minimum harvest standard.

We have over 100 stands strategically placed for all wind directions. This allows us the flexibility needed to keep the pressure off our deer. We have a combination of ladder stands and hang-on's. Upon your arrival you will be assigned an area that has not had any hunting pressure for a minimum of two weeks prior to your arrival. This rotation keeps the stands and hunting areas fresh and productive. Each area will have tree stands set up for any wind direction.

Woodbury Outfitters is currently in the process of completing a new lodge for the 2006 season. The lodge will be first class, featuring Satellite TV, internet access and a spacious living area to relax after a days hunt. The lodge will be completely furnished with all of the comforts of home. It will also include a scent free room for storing your clothes and equipment.

We offer early season, rut and late season hunts. Our season traditionally starts October 1, and runs through January 31. Woodbury Outfitters also offers a limited number of Spring Turkey Hunts.
